Mission: To create an atmosphere where “the love for learning begins”. We encourage them to explore, observe, ask questions, and model a love of learning that leads them to empowerment. Our goal is to see them develop a positive self-concept and enhance their creativity while enriching their lives socially, intellectually, and emotionally.
Proud of Serving, Inc. is a vehicle that brings children with intellectual challenges closer to a normal life. Its founders, Kisha and Nick, have over 50 years combined of working in the school system and are very familiar what is missing in providing for these children by allowing them to learn in a positive setting where they find structure and consistency in their lives.
We facilitate an academic, social, and emotional setting that supports their needs, place emphasis on the importance of helping parents, and our programs provides ways to help parents develop different strategies that are responsive to their children’s needs.
