Where The Love of Learning Begins!

Although I did not always buy into Kisha’s uncompromising approach in working with my daughter, I can not argue with the outcomes. Prior to working with my daughter, Samantha could not read and had great difficulty holding a pen let alone writing with one. I see now that Kisha’s toughness and more importantly high expectations were the best therapy approach. Samantha looks forward to seeing and working with Kisha. Sam exudes confidence and Kisha exudes pride. I now know that being direct with Samanth and having high expectations are okay. I have Kisha to thank. Kisha is family. I am so glad that our family is part of the Proud of Serving family.

I don’t know where to begin, Ms. Kisha has been a Godsend into our lives and more importantly into our child’s life. From the first day, she was so attentive, caring, and the right amount of firm. Our daughter showed massive signs of improvement in not only her speech but fine motor skills. There was so much of an improvement after a couple of months, that her teachers at school and other family members were surprised how much she improved her clarity in her speech, handwriting, and willingness to learn. If you have a child with a disability I don’t know of anyone better that you could hire than Ms. Kisha. 100/10!

We have known Kisha Dominique since 2005. She is passionate, compassionate and uncompromising. We first met Kisha through PBS. She educated our family on how to affect our behavior choices to have the best outcomes. Back then Kisha noticed that Samantha was capable of much more academically. Kisha started to work with Sam on her reading, writing, and math skills. Kisha felt the expectations set for Samantha were not high enough thus the outcomes were not as positive. Kisha did not accept Sam’s diagnosis of Autism, Achromtopsia and anxiety as excuses. Practice is vital in achieving positive outcomes. This is Kisha’s mantra. Kisha promotes this concept with no compromise. Samantha is still a work in progress thanks to practice and improvement in fine motor control. We are so proud of Samantha.
